Capturing the Story of Your Animals — From Backyard Companions to Life on the Ranch 

At Grateful Journeys Pet and Animal Photography, every session is as unique as the animals I photograph. Whether your companion is young and playful, aging gracefully, working alongside you on the ranch, or simply sharing life’s quiet adventures on the trail, my goal is always the same — to honor their story through authentic, heartfelt images.

Before the Session
After booking, you’ll receive a short and easy questionnaire so I can begin getting to know your pet or animal companion.

You can share things like:

• Their favorite toy or treat
• What helps them feel comfortable
• Whether they’re shy, energetic, older, or a working animal
• Any special moments or ideas you’d love to capture

There are no right or wrong answers — just a space to tell me about your incredible friend.

Once I receive your responses, we’ll schedule a brief call to talk through your vision and plan the details of your session together.

Choosing the Right Location

Sessions can take place wherever your animal feels most at home.

That might be:

• Your home or backyard
• A farm or working ranch
• A favorite trail or mountain landscape
• Wildflowers, lakesides, or open pastures
• A quiet and gentle setting for senior pets

Together, we’ll choose a location that reflects your pet’s personality and the story you share.

During the Session

This is where the magic happens.

Sessions are relaxed, patient, and guided by your animal’s natural behavior. I move at your pet’s pace, allowing them to be themselves.

That might mean:

• Running freely through a pasture
• Working alongside livestock
• Resting peacefully by your side
• Exploring a favorite trail together

My role is simply to notice and capture those moments — the looks, gestures, and expressions that speak volumes without a single word.
