I’m Kim Mulholland, a Montana photographer drawn to the connection between animals and people.
Through Grateful Journeys Photography, I create refined, story-driven images of pets, ranch life, wildlife, and the landscapes of the West.
My approach is calm and unhurried. I work with natural movement and real interaction—no perfect posing required—so moments can unfold in a way that feels honest and true. Where the photograph is taken matters—it’s part of the story.
This work is deeply personal to me. After a life-changing health journey, photography became a way to embrace what matters—the rhythm of life on a ranch, the spirit of a dog, and the unspoken bonds we share.
